Keep up-to-date with what we've been up to across the Black Country

Easter/Lent Campaign 2020

13th February 2020

In 2019 we launched our Lent Campaign which coincided with 2019 being our busiest year to date. Black Country Foodbank provided 260,520 meals to adults and 96,380 of those meals were for children under the age of 14. These are staggering figures and reflect so much need in the Black Country.

The support we received during the Lent Campaign in 2019 was incredible and we are hoping to restock the shelves in 2020.

We only manage to keep going because of the support from you. We cannot continue without you and we would love to have your support again this Easter.

Here is a link to our poster which is everyone is welcome to use.

The Campaign

The early months of the year can be a difficult time for Black Country Foodbank as donations drop off and we struggle to maintain our food stocks.

Lent lasts 40 days and 40 nights so we challenge as many of you as possible to collect and donate 80 cans (cartons/packets etc) of food to Black Country Foodbank.

Everyone can take part in this challenge and whether you collect 1 item or 800 items we will be very grateful to you.

How you do it is up to you, but please be encouraged to take up the challenge!
