The Coronavirus is having an impact on all our services please read the following. We will update the information as soon as we can.
Agencies/Voucher Holders
Please do not send a client to a Distribution Centre before you have checked the locations page on the website. Centres are having to close in order to protect their volunteers. If you are an agency and hold our vouchers then please make sure you read our email regarding the non contact voucher system. If you don’t hold voucher but would like to then please call 01384 671 250 to discuss this.
Donations
Thank you for all the donations, we continue to be overwhelmed by your generosity.
Staying Safe
We are doing all we can to adhere to the cautionary Government guidelines at all of centres; social distancing is in place (2m apart) and packs are being collected/issued at the door. Please be observant of this and support our volunteers to ensure the safety of everyone.
Face masks/Coverings
BCFB will contact all the agencies and ask that they advise all clients to wear a face mask whilst visiting a Distribution Centre. If a client arrives without a face mask then they will be asked to wait outside and their food and toiletry parcel will be brought to them.
Volunteering
We have been overwhelmed with offers from people to volunteer. We don’t have any vacancies at the moment but we will update the website if this situation changes.
