Harvest 2023

It’s that time of year again when we try and replenish our stock replace some of the vital items that we need for our food and toiletry parcels.

This past year has been incredibly challenging for many of us with the cost of living crisis and increased fuel bills following on from the pandemic. Sadly, we are seeing more and more families using foodbanks.

It has been well documented that foodbanks all across the country are facing one of the most difficult situations in a decade. The cost-of-living crisis is pushing up demand. At Black Country Foodbank distribution of food parcels has risen by 20% compared to last year with over a 1/3 of all food distributed throughout the year going to children.

Resourced by the community for the community

You are key to helping us fulfil this, generously supporting us during Harvest Time with donations of food, toiletries and funding, for which we are incredibly grateful. If you are able to arrange a collection of food and toiletry items this year for Harvest it would be really appreciated.

We want to make it as easy as possible for you to donate food and toiletries but if you have any questions, please give us a call on 01384 671250.

Every can counts! We are grateful for every single item that’s donated especially as so many are experiencing financial challenges.
